By | Jan 5, 2010 | 0 Comments | Rating: 0

Plaid has always been associated with men's fashion world, with the squares being as a favorite amongst many. A men's plaid shirt is available in almost all sizes of squares, ranging from micro checks to buffalo plaid. Buffalo plaid shirts consist of very big squares that symbolizes a macho man. However people these days are trying to stick with the mini and micro squares.

Some small pattern plaid shirts are much easier to handle and do not scream for attention. When selecting a few men's plaid shirts make sure your wardrobe contains both bright and neutral colored plaid shirts. While bright colored plaid shirts go well with some jeans and look casual, neutral color plaid shirts look good at somber events and can be worn with skinny neckties or with crisp suits.

The men's plaid shirt craze was started by famous singer Kurt Kobain and now every celebrity is spotted in plaid shirts. At every paparazzi website you can see a few hunks like David Beckham, Robert Pattinson, Brad Pitt, George Clooney to name a few who are spotted wearing some plaid shirts. Brad Pitt went a step ahead and wore a gray colored plaid shirt with his crisp suit at a red carpet event.

When buying a mens plaid shirt make sure you buy the right kind of fit for yourself. A good plaid shirt will fit right at your waist and the arms do not hang loose. A good plaid shirt with mini squares will highlight your body only when it fits well. While funky plaid shirts cannot be worn more than once, monochromatic plaid shirts can be repeated again and again.

With so much to offer in terms of color, fit and design, plaid shirts are must for your fall wardrobe. Look stylish and sexy this winter with cool plaid shirts, you can wear them over plain t-shirts, or wear under suits, or wear them buttoned down, the choice is yours.
