Heat up 2 tablespoons of almond butter, 2 to 3 tablespoons of agave syrup in a small pan until it boils. Pour it over the dry ingredients in the large bowl. Mix well until the dry ingredients are coated with the wet ingredients. Spread the mixture over the baking paper and bake in the oven for 22 minutes. Let the granola cool for 15 minutes and break it up to store in a glass jar.

This metabolic cooking recipe for Asian turkey burgers makes 3 servings. Each serving contains 184 calories each:
Take 1 pound of ground turkey, 2 tablespoons of minced green bell pepper, 3 tablespoons of chopped parsley, 1/4 cup of minced onion, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon of grated ginger, 1 tablespoon of water, a pinch of salt and pepper and 2 cloves of crushed garlic. Squeeze the ingredients together in a large bowl until the mixture is combined well. Shape into 3 equal size burgers around 3/4 inch thick. Place a skillet over a medium to high heat and coat it with a non-stick cooking spray. When the oil is hot, fry the burgers on both sides for approximately 5 minutes, or until the burgers are cooked through.

Try this recipe for a quick metabolism boosting smoothie that you can drink in the morning, or as a great post-workout snack:

Use a blender on a high setting to mix together 2 scoops hemp protein powder, a banana or 1 cup of blueberries, 1/2 a cup of almond milk, 2 tablespoons of ground flax seeds, 1 tablespoon of organic vanilla extract and some water (to make the smoothie to your desired consistency). Blend for around 1 minute.
