Metabolic Resistance Training
One of the fitness terms that has been floating around a lot lately in various blogs and websites is Metabolic Resistance Training. This is a workout method that is said to provide a much faster and better workout experience and allows you to burn more body fat faster.
In this short article I want to talk a bit about these workouts and help you see what they are, how they work, and why they are considered to be so effective.
So, what is Metabolic Resistance Training?
You do metabolic resistance training any time you perform a series of exercises, or circuits, in a fast pace and under a considerable resistance. Why Are These Workouts So Effective?
There are a number of reasons for this:
1. These sort of workouts are very intense. This means that you will burn a lot of calories when you do them. There is really no comparison to regular workouts.
2. MRT workouts give your metabolism a big push upward. They may be able to keep your metabolism running higher for as much as 48 hours after you complete your workout. This means that your body continues to burn more calories and fat for long after the workout has been done. You become a more effective fat burning machine.
