After all, it's almost impossible to live without a microwave.

To start it off, let's think about why microwave oven is one of the greatest inventions of present day society. Millions of homes around the world have one. Just think about how many times you use a microwave every day! Wake up in the morning and you're almost late for work. No worries, grab that frozen breakfast burrito from the fridge and pop it into the microwave oven for a quick heat. In no time you'll be stuck in a traffic jam but hey, nothing like a hot breakfast to start up your day. Soon, it's noon and your boss is nagging you about that report that was supposed to be due yesterday. Guess that you'll have to grab a quick lunch and power through lunch break. Sitting in the company fridge is some nice Chinese takeout that you didn't finish yesterday and what better to do than to put it for a spin in the microwave oven for something to fill your stomach?

This black and silver machine also features useful functions such as auto defrost, turntable and stirrer, sensor cooking, different cooking stages, auto sensor fan, chrome rack, 3 lighting options, and without question, different modes set for different foods.


Microwave Toaster Oven: Sanyo Microwave Ovens
The Sanyo EM-Z2100GS Microwave Oven - Browner - Toasting Oven is a perfect example of a microwave toaster oven. Yea, you heard me; a microwave TOASTER oven. It's one machine that combines the functions of both a microwave and a toaster. This means you can microwave food and bake cookies or toast bread. This unit has 900W power for the regular microwave functions which boosts to 1000W for the baking and grilling functions. In terms of dimensions, the Sanyo 20" X 14" X 18" and 0.8 cu ft, this is one of the smaller units of its type.


With 5 power levels and 8 touch keys, this is relatively less versatile than the Amana microwave. However it does have interesting features like child lock, defrost settings, etc. Unlike the Amana, this model uses a digital rotary dial to set the time. This can be convenient for those that hate punching in the numbers.
