Rating: 0

Minnekhada Regional Park is a 200 hectare regional park that sits on Pitt River; Minnekhada Park is located in North East Coquitlam, British Columbia.  Minnekhada Park offers walking and hiking trails that transverse water and forest with multiple lookout areas that provide an amazing view to any hiker.  On top of the amazing trails, many people venture to Minnekhada for wildlife viewing as well as picnicking.  It is not uncommon to come across black bears in the forest!

Aside from the wildlife and trails, Minnekhada park also offers a heritage building named the Minnekhada Lode that is available for rent for events such as weddings or celebrations.  The building resembles a log cabin and features an in ground pool in the back yard.

If you plan on bringing your dog, make sure you bring a leash as dogs must remain on-leash throughout the park.
