Modern Tumble Dryers - What Features To Look For!

By | Apr 4, 2010 | 0 Comments | Rating: 0

Today, the market is being flooded with all sorts of new, high-tech drying machines that have all sorts of fancy features. The prices of these household appliances have come down as of late and our family was among the many that simply couldn't resist the urge to purchase one. Ever since we did, we are saving much time. You should always try to automate your manual chores as much as you can. But when we went to the electronics store to get one, there were so many and they had so many different kinds of features, that it was hard to choose!

We've learned from our experiences and I would like to share with you some of the most important features that you should look for in a condensing tumble dryer, should you ever want to purchase one yourself. There is a big list of dozens of features that I could come up with, but only about a handful are actually essential. My advice would be to focus on those and don't let yourself get all hyped up by luxurious features that you don't really need. You'll pay the price but you won't use them. What a waste of money.

One of the most important thing you should look at, is the capacity of the dryer you are looking at. If you have a large family, then you will probably want lots of capacity so you won't have to do multiple loads. Or perhaps you are a student in dorm rooms with little clothes to dry and moving around a lot. In that case you might want to go for a portable dryer such as the Haier HLP140E Wall Mountable Dryer. It won't take large loads, but it doesn't take up much space either. Ideal for people who are living small.

Other important features are automatic ironing and drying sensors. A drying machine that has sensors, can automatically sense if the clothes it's drying are dry enough. After that, an automatic ironing program can begin to iron the clothes, thereby shortening the time you'll spend doing manual ironing. You will probably also want a dryer with a timer, so that you can set the time it will spend at most on one drying program. Temperature settings are also important, because it allows you to experiment with temperatures so you can find out what works best for your personal clothing!
