How to Capture Yian Kut-Ku: Attack until the monster is really weak. When this happens, put it to sleep with your items. Place the pitfall trap in front of the monster so when it wakes up, it will move straight right into the trap. Put it to sleep again to capture Yian Kut-Ku!

Hidden Areas:

Desert - between zones 6 and 7
Swamp - between zones 7 and 11
Volcanic Belt - below area 7

Get a Serpentblade: Get a bone sword and upgrade it to get the Vile Serpentblade. Complete the "Formitable Velocidrome" and the velociprey hunting missions. Keep doing this until your Vile Serpentblade is upgraded to the Greater Serpentblade.
