It is the right time to leave the not-so-pleasant-smelling local gym and get out in summer's flower-scented air. Get out of the confines of the indoors and go out and jog, ride a bike, do aerobics and yoga.

It is the middle of the summer, and you know what that means - you have to get rid of cellulite now!

Walking

Start with the simplest (however, most effective) workout there is - walking. A lot of men and women know by now that a distance of up to five miles is suggested as a reasonable distance. Unless one works on a job that involves a lot of fast-walking, it is quite hard to log that through everyday physical activity. A lot of men and women attain that exercise target by walking a sustained walk of thirty to sixty minutes a day. If you want to make it more fun, get a heart rate monitor to keep track.

Jogging

Right after a frequent walking routine is established, why not go for something more serious i.e. jogging.
More muscles are used when you are jogging walking since you are using calves, buttocks, and thighs. Basically, with jogging, the body is working a lot harder. Best of all, one does not have to lose body-fat first to be able to jog frequently. To start jogging everything that you need is a pair of good running shoes. In case you are not in the best of physical condition, start off with interval training. Walk for two or three minutes and then jog for five minutes. Do this for thirty minutes.

Bicycling

Riding a bike is a great form of outdoor workouts. It has gain in popularity over the past several years. It provides a good heart-rate exercise while strengthening the leg muscles. What's more, it puts a lot less stress on the legs when compared to jogging or running. Men and women of any age and body type can get out and enjoy riding a bike in the fresh air. Riding a bike is also much better when compared to walking for the heart. It costs little or nothing and, best of all, you are helping the environment by using it to commute. A lot of physicians recommend twenty minutes per day, two to four times per week. That is a great place to start, until the love of riding a bike gets inside the blood and changes you. Go up to an exercise target of 50 minutes of cycling 5 days per week.

Yoga

Summer is a great time of year to do yoga in the local park. It is a very popular form of activity in today's exercise culture. Since it's a form of meditation, it results in a sense of inner peace. Yoga can be used for a number of goals, from simply learning to relax to managing stress better.

Look at this as your summer exercise season and change the diet and other bad habits in keeping with the exercise targets. Doubtlessly, by fall you'll be well on your way to being fit, much leaner, and healthier person.
