Final Fight 3 is a side-scrolling beat 'em up and the third installment of the Final Fight series. The game was released on December 21, 1995 for the SNES. Following the annihilation of the Mad Gear Gang, a new criminal group named the Skull Cross Gang emerges as the new dominant criminal organization in Metro City. When Guy returns to Metro City from his martial art training to become reacquainted with his friend Mike Haggar, the Mayor of Metro City, the two are suddenly informed that the Skull Cross Gang has started a riot in the downtown area of the city. Joined by Lucia, a detective in the Metro City Police's Special Crimes Unit, and Dean, a street fighter whose family was murdered by the Skull Cross Gang, Guy and Haggar must once again save Metro City from its newest menace.

You can play as Guy and Mike Haggar from the original Final Fight as well as Lucia and Dean. Each character has there own special moves and abilities along with lethal super moves. These special moves are executed like super combos in Street Fighter. These features along with the polished combat system and co-op mode, lend to the game's more action oriented game play and level design. The game's soundtrack is very memorable and complements the gritty atmosphere of Metro City perfectly. Final Fight 3 is currently available for purchase on the Nintendo virtual console and can be emulated with ZSNES.
