Things You Will Need

Vitamin B6

Wrist Splints

Step 1

Take Vitamin B6 for carpal Tunnel Syndrome pain relief. It takes approximately 3 months to feel the full effects of this vitamin. If you are pregnant or nursing, check with your doctor before taking any supplements or vitamins.

Step 2

Exercise and stretch often when engaged in the activity that causes your pain and numbness. Place your palms together, point your fingers upward and press for a 10 count. Make circle motions using only your wrists. Circle slowly to the left 10 times, circle slowly to the right 10 times.

Step 3

Rest your wrists. Take frequent rest breaks from your activity to ease pressure from holding the same position or repetitive motion.

Step 4

While relaxing, keep your wrists propped up on pillows to relieve the pressure.

Step 5

Wear wrist splints. Do not use anything that will be tight and press on your already sensitive wrists such as an elastic bandage.

If your symptoms worsen or do not improve within a few weeks, see your doctor. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is a difficult and painful condition which can be managed with exercise, vitamins and listening to your body when it needs a break.
