Natural Home Remedies for Baldness and Hair Loss

Severe hair loss can result in alopecia, more commonly known as baldness. Men are the most common sufferers of baldness. At any age, men can experience hair loss that can eventually lead to baldness. With men baldness is usually caused by their genes, while in women this is caused mostly by hormonal changes and the use of chemicals in their hair. Age, genes, hormones, stress, abnormal blood circulation to the scalp and severe dandruff are the main causes of hair loss and baldness to both men and women.

 

If you are already starting to lose your hair, here are some home remedies that you can try:

  • Mix a few drops of apple cider vinegar into a glass of sage tea. Rinse your hair using this mixture to help your grow back.
  • Rinse your hair with a mixture of chamomile and catmint. This can decrease the itchiness in your scalp that may cause your hair loss.
  • Mix a stinging needle, birch leaves and watercress juice together in a glass of water. Drink it to clean your blood and skin.
  • Shampoo your hair with a mixture of two tablespoons of horsetail, hot water and baby shampoo. Horsetail has silica that will help the hair to strengthen and look glossy.
  • Simmer rosemary leaves for about 10 minutes and when it cools add drops of wheatgerm. You can use this mixture to rinse your hair after shampooing.
  • Mix a cup of hot water with a teaspoon of marshmallow and burdock and drink it. This is good to moisturize your hair.
  • Use a mixture of oil from arnica, marigold, rosemary and southernwood to massage your hair.
  • Drink a cup of hot water mixed with five drops of jatamamsi and brahmi two to three times a day to relieve stress.
  • Eat a few ounces of psoralea seeds daily. This will make your hair grow back after half a year.
  • Add crushed oyster and clam shell to tea and drink it.
  • Apply extracts of coriander leaves to the scalp to prevent hair loss.
  • Hot oil your hair using coconut oil. This can also strengthen your hair and clean your scalp.
  • Grind lemon seeds and black pepper and mix it with almond oil and other oils. Apply this to the bald part of your head to treat baldness.
  • Condition your hair with a bowl of olive oil or other herbal oils and leave it for a night. Rinse it in the morning using baby shampoo.
  • Mix aloe vera extract with powdered triphala and apply this mixture to your scalp up to six months to grow your hair back.
  • The application of castor oil to your scalp regularly can also strengthen your hair.
  • Massage the scalp and hair with one tablespoon of tonic made from five tablespoons of southernwood and water.
  • Shampoo hair with an infusion of Indian goose berry, reetha, shikakai and water. Use this to cure your baldness.

These natural hair loss remedies are effective and wallet-friendly.
