What Are Blackheads?

Recipes for Facial Treatments for Blackheads

Tumeric/Coriander Overnight Treatment

To use tumeric to treat blackheads, add half a teaspoon of tumeric powder to one teaspoon of coriander juice.  Apply the mixture to the area affected by blackheads.  Leave the mixture on your skin overnight and wash it off in the morning.

Tumeric & Mint Juice Treatment

Combine tumeric and mint juice and apply to blackheads for 15 to 30 minutes.  Wash the mixture off with lukewarm water in order to fight blackheads.

Oatmeal/Apple Paste

  • 1/2 cup of boiled oats
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 Tbsp. of lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup of mashed apple

Combine all ingredients to make a paste and apply the paste to areas with blackheads.  Leave the paste on for 10-15 minutes.  Wash off gently.  This paste will remove blackheads.

Oatmeal & Rose Water Mask

Mix rose water with oatmeal powder and apply to skin affected with blackheads.  Leave on for 15 minutes and wash off with cold water.  This will get rid of blackheads and prevent infections.

Cinnamon/Lime Juice Treatment

Mix equal parts lime juice and cinnamon with 1/2 tsp of tumeric powder.  Apply to mixture over areas of the skin with blackheads and allow to dry.  Wash off gently with cold water.  Use this treatment for 15 days in order to maximize the effect of removing blackheads.  For best results, leave the mixture on overnight.

Almond/Rose Paste

Combine ground almonds and fresh rose buds with 1/2 teaspoon of milk to create a paste.  Apply the paste and leave on for as long as you'd like.  Wash the paste off with warm water in order to get rid of blackheads.

Honey/Lime Juice Treatment

Mix 2 tablespoons of honey with lime juice and apply to skin affected with blackheads.   Let dry and then rinse off to remove blackheads.

Honey & Sugar Scrub

Mix equal parts honey and sugar to create a perfect exfoliator to fight blackheads.

Lemon Juice & Rose Water Treatment

Mix equal amounts of fresh lemon juice and rose water.  Apply the mixture to your face, leave it on for one hour, and then wash off thoroughly.  Follow this regimen for 15 days to get naturally cure blackheads.

Cinnamon & Lemon Juice Paste

Mix 1 teaspoon of lemon juice with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder.  Apply this paste to blackheads in order to treat them naturally.
