Natural remedies for sleep that really work
So many people have really difficult times trying to fall asleep. The over the counter remedies can be harsh on your liver and/or kidney's. Prescription medication is expensive, and can many side effects. There are alternatives that are safe, cheap, and effective. You can use these herbal remedies, and have peace of mind knowing that you are not hurting your body.
Things You Will Need
Chamomile tea
Valerian capsules
Step 1
First thing you need to do is to take two Valerian capsules. You can find these at any place that sales herbal supplements. Take the two capsules two hours before bed, this gives the Valerian plenty of time to work. Valerian is very good at helping induce sleep, and for me, keeps me asleep. I hate waking up every couple of hours, and Valerian helps prevent this.
Step 2
About an hour before bed, you need to make yourself a cup of Chamomile tea. I know some guys are thinking, "me, drink tea" but really, just give it a try, it is certainly worth it if your going to get a good nights rest. About 45 minutes you will definitely be sleepy. Go get a good nights rest.
Tips & Warnings
I try not to take something every night, but that's just me. I don't like to be reliant on anything. If you don't need to take this every night, then don't. If you need it every night, then by all means take it.
