Natural treatment for perioral dermatitis

The tiny red bumps around the mouth, called papules, is known as perioral dermatitis. Perioral dermatitis can often be mistaken for acne. Perioral dermatitis causes can be from allergens, or reactions to steroid drugs. Irritants from cleaning products, or soaps might cause perioral dermatitis. Women are more likely to develop perioral dermatitis. Although both men and women can be affected. Perioral dermatitis can be caused from the chemicals in makeup. Perioral dermatitis isn't contagious or a serious condition. Virgin coconut oils comes without any added chemicals. Virgin coconut oil softens the skin and protects against free radical attacks. Just apply virgin coconut oil on the dermatitis. Coconut oil will maintain a healthier skin.

Vitamin E oil: Vitamin E is a very powerful antioxidant, used to help repair damaged skin. Vitamin E oil can prevent itching. Vitamin E oil repairs damaged skin cells and fights off free radical attacks. Taking vitamin E supplements can also help prevent dermatitis from reoccurring as well. Vitamin E can prevent the skin from ultraviolet light damage. It a person takes 400 IU vitamin E supplements a day, they can help prevent perioral dermatitis from reoccurring.

Aloe vera gel: Aloe vera has been known to be helpful in repairing the skin. Aloe vera contains antibacterial, antiseptic, and antibiotic properties. Aloe vera contains high amount of amino acids, enzymes, and vitamins B1, B3, B6, B12 and vitamin C. Aloe vera can protected against infections and cool the skin from inflammation. Aloe vera can be used as gel, or it can be found in soaps as well. Washing your face with aloe vera can be an effective natural treatment for perioral dermatitis.

Emu oil: Emu oil comes from an Australian bird. The oil comes from the fat on the back of the bird. Emu oil can treat many skin conditions that continue to reoccur for others. The oil comes from an animal, so vegetarians might want to use virgin coconut oil instead. Emu oil is very high in fatty acids. It helps provide thicker skin, and has proven to be anti-inflammatory. Emu oils can prevent scarring, infections, and revive the skin back to its natural course. Emu oil consists of omega-3 fat, omega-6 fats, and omega-9 fats. Emu oil is helpful in treating burns, pain, and repairing damaged skin cells.

Turmeric: Turmeric is an Indian spice containing curcumin, which turns into a yellow substance. The curcumin found in turmeric contains very strong anti-inflammatory effects. Turmeric is extremely safe to use, and has very strong anti-bacterial properties. Turmeric can be used as a natural antibiotic as well. Turmeric can be made into a paste, by adding tomato juice. It should be applied to the face. Leave the turmeric paste on your face for 15 minutes, then wash with a antibacterial soap. Turmeric will stain clothes, so avoiding getting turmeric on clothing.
