Nesquick vs Yoohoo

By | 1 Comments | Rating: 1 | |

Chocolate milk is delicious, that goes without saying. Which chocolate milk is the best, is another thing. There have been two contenders for best chocolate milk for some time. These two have been Nesquik and Yoohoo. To the untrained eye these two look and taste the same. But, as every chocolate milk expert can tell you, this is not the case. Nesquik has some advantages. For one, it is more widely available. Another thing is that the advertising done for it has been amazing. Nesquik has a a very well developed brand that aims at the modern child. Nesquik is portrayed as cool, hip, and young. Taste wise, it is just typical chocolate milk. It is pretty heavy and you can just taste the fat. It seems as though Nesquik has tried to cover up their inferior chocolate taste with more cream. Yoohoo, on the other hand, has an excellent chocolate taste. Yoohoo may not be as thick as Nesquik, but it certainly tastes better. Yoohoo also has a richer background. Yoohoo has not varied its design too much over the years. This stance against change has hurt Yohoo, but also made its customers more loyal. Those who know of it, usually stick with it because it brings back memories of their youth, as well as tasting better. Nesquik represents the new-age kids. The kids who don't really play outdoors. Yoohoo represents a forgotten time. A time when kids were daring. A time when kids actually played outside. A time when kids, were kids. It comes down to personal taste, I guess. Are you the type of person who likes the mundane, the indoors? Or are you the type of person who is adventurous and likes new things?
