New Digital Cameras That Came Out In 2011

Top Digital Cameras 2011

There are several cameras that hit the market in 2011, and these cameras are still some of the bestselling cameras for 2012 as well, especially if there has been no other camera that has come onto the market to replace the current version. All of the cameras that were at the top of the list in 2011 were cameras that were loved by both professionals and amateurs as being something that was invaluable when used in the field. During October of 2011, Canon released a very high technology camera that people seemed to love. This was the Canon EOS-1D X 18.1 MP Full Frame CMOS Digital SLR Camera.

The reason that many people flocked to this camera was basically because it has been tested to withstand a lot of use. For those that wanted a camera that was going to be able to get through even the toughest of jobs, and then this was the camera to have. The camera is now priced at around $6800, which is much less than the ten thousand that this camera started out as.

The features of this camera were meant to be used by professionals. The SLR features of the camera ensure that a picture is taken with quality and clarity each time since it was designed to take pictures while in motion. This is not one of those cameras in which beginners are going to have much luck with since it is so advanced. This is more or less meant for those that have been in photography for years and know what they are doing.

For those that are looking for a hand held, pocket camera that they can take with them anywhere, in 2011 the release of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-3D1 Still and Video Camera is the one camera that has several people’s attention.

The reason being is that it calls itself a still and video camera. Thus, people are getting two functions for the price of one. The price of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-3D1 is usually around $375, which is not bad considering that the person is getting two features in the same unit. The picture and video quality is what people expect for such a camera, though there is nothing that seems to be entirely outstanding for the pictures and video. It is the simple, standard camera that people will have use with when taking family pictures while on vacation or just for those everyday pictures. However, it is given the label as being the world’s smallest 3D company, something that the camera has over the competitors.

For the year 2011, the cameras that were produced were on the cutting edge of technology and they did sell well. However, the following year with all the new technology that came out, they become obsolete in the way that they took pictures and the way in which they were handled.  Though they are still usable, most people that are looking to get a new camera want something that is cutting edge.
