Night sweats, dilemma of the sleepless nights
Night sweat is the common name used for sleep hyperhidrasis. It refers to the excess of sweating during sleep. Night sweats are not common, but the most common feature they possess is the depression they come with.
A number of reasons are recorded as the factors of causing night sweat. They are also quoted as a symptom of tuberculosis and HIV virus. Endocarditis an infection of heart valves and osteomyelitis are also its causes. But here, what we cant forget as its major trigger is the hormonal imbalance. Night sweats usually occur in early adulthood, but in women under 30 they are not so common. However, the growing amount of stress in our lives in current epoch has increased this rate as well.
In women under 30, night sweats occur due to high intake of caffeine and alcohol, smoking, depression and in some cases weight gain is also found to be a reason. Women in their 30s face an alteration in their reproductive cycle. At times the activity of thyroid becomes so rapid that it seems like menopause. This can also be a reason. The loss of body vitality after pregnancy and child birth are some of the most highlighted causes.
Night sweats in women under 30 are not life endangering, though they are disturbing enough to seed a powerful depression in them. They greatly affect the confidence of a woman. In order to avoid this problem or to overcome it, women above thirty must see a qualified consultant. They must stay away from smoking, alcohol and caffeine, and most importantly they should never take anti-depressants, niacin, birth control pills, aspirin and acetaminophen. Affected person must sleep in comfortable fabrics and taking cold shower before going to bed can provide worthwhile results. No medication can sort this problem out if the person is not ready to give up unhealthy habits. Fruits, legumes and vegetables should be taken on daily basis. Cold milk and fresh juices are also very essential. Anxiety can aggravate the problem so it must be avoided at max. however, before doing anything one must ensure that night sweating is not happening due to any medication you are taking along for any of the problems. If this happens to be the cause then treating the night sweat is not a soldier task.
Night sweats are just a phase, a problem that can be well sorted if handled properly. But making it a dilemma can give rise to many other issues.
