It seems to be the acceptable craze, to have some type of plastic surgery done on your face or your body and even inside our body. A cut here and a nip there, a nose job, and instant six-pack to your stomach, etc. are quick easy ways to make people feel better about themselves. People are doing all kinds of things to look better. In today's world, we want stuff instant and now. I've even thought about having plastic surgery on my nose (Rhinoplasty).
I was watching one of these medical advance shows, they were talking about, and instant nose jobs. The procedure is where the doctor injects a type of molding putty (BOTOX ® Cosmetic, Restylane ®, or Radiesse ® ) into the surface of the nose and then molds your nose into a different shape. This procedure works very well, if you're trying to lessen the look of a hump in the nose or help to reshape a hook nose. There is only thing bad about this procedure - it is temporary and only lasts several months. The good thing about the procedure is no cutting, its instant, little to no pain, and it only takes about 15 minutes to do.
The research I did showed that the cost for this style of procedure was under a $1000 instead of paying thousands for the typical nose job. The cost of the getting anesthesia alone while getting the surgical style nose job would cost close the same as getting the non-surgical nose job.
There are drawbacks to getting this type procedure, its temporarily lasting from six months to two years, and not everyone is a good candidate for it because it will not make a large nose smaller. Not all plastic surgeons do this non-surgical procedure, but it seems to be snowballing across the country. There is some stinging from the needle injection shots.
This procedure is not only being used on the nose, but other areas on the face and body. It can enhance cheeks, defined a chin, fix crow feet around the eyes, help fill in acne scars or blemishes, and so on. It's really amazing to me how scientists are coming up with new ways to improve our physical features of the face and body without using a scalpel to cut you up into pieces, and then sew you back together. Then you have to wait to heal, and some people don't heal fast or correctly from the surgical type of procedures.
I have done a lot of research on this non-surgical nose correcting procedure. I'm also like the millions of people out there who are not satisfied with their looks. I have a very prominent hump in my nose and I believe this procedure could help correct the hump in my nose. With a little more research I will try this procedure. If I don't like the way it looks, it's okay because it is temporary. However, I would rather the try this than have a hammer, and chisel chipping away bones in my nose and have to endure suffering, pain, healing with two black eyes.
Non-surgical procedures sound too good to be true in improving one's looks, but this technology really exists. If you are thinking about cosmetic surgery, think about non-surgical surgery. One word of caution, do your research on the doctor you want to use if you want to get this type of procedure because some are more up to date on new advances in plastic surgery.
