Olay Regenerist Deep Hydrating Regenerating Cream is a facial moisturizer that is especially made for dry skin. It is a hydrating cream that helps dry skin retain moisture and helps skin stay soft and smooth. It helps prevent flaky skin as well.

One of the best features about Olay Regenerist Deep Hydrating Regenerating Cream is its texture. It is not too thick and not too thin, which helps when applying to the face. It does not tug on the skin like some other products can.

Another good feature is the fact that it is non-greasy. Too many skin care products on the market today still can't get the formula right. Even people with the driest of skin do not benefit from a greasy or oily product. When a moisturizer is greasy or oily, it does not absorb into the skin as it should. Rather it sits on the surface and is slick. This is unacceptable since most face moisturizers are applied underneath foundation or powder. Even when oily products are applied at night before going to bed without makeup, it is not a nice feeling. Most of Olay's products are good about this, but the Deep Hydrating Regenerating Cream works especially well.

Since the product is non-greasy it absorbs into the skin well. Again, this is important when wearing under foundation or powder. The surface of the skin must be as smooth as possible, and Olay delivers. It provides a nice surface for applying makeup. The absorption also helps with making pores look smaller and wrinkles fade.

Another pro of the product is the bottle. It allows for just enough product to be pumped out without wasting it.

The downside to the regenerating cream is that people with oily skin might not be able to use it, as it may provide too much hydration. Another con is that even though it is considered to be a drugstore product, it can still be expensive. The bottle holds 1.7 oz of cream, and if applied daily it usually only lasts a month. The cream retails for around $20, so that can add up. Buying it from an online store like Amazon may bring the price down some. It is still worth the price, and comparable beauty products sold in department stores go for much more.

All in all, it is a great cream for the price. For those with dry skin, it's definitely a must!

In Closing

This is a very good moisturizer for dry skin
