Unless you have attended the University of Texas or Tennessee then you may have never considered orange bedding in the past. When people see a package of orange sheets they just dismiss it as something left over from Halloween usually, and never consider the jaw dropping decorative theme that can be created from this color scheme. Combining them with varying shaded of dark to light brown or earth tones will result in a fabulous look that will actually tone down the bright and bring up the darker color a notch for a match made in heaven.

Yes you can make a seasonal display of orange bedding in your bedroom with the bright pumpkin colored sheets, in the fall you can celebrate your alma mater's football team, or get into the trick or treat spirit by combining orange and black bedding. Surely, a matching area rug extols the values of a comically horrifying character that goes boo in the night. But, most people will not want to change out their bed linens for a thirty day celebration, so keeping the theme more neutral you can also add a duvet that mixes earth, and medium yellows together to create an appealing look in your sleeping area. Medium blue is another great segue way color that will work nicely, and be prepared for comments from guest about orange color combinations reminding them of their school colors as it is used frequently in that setting.

Using a burnt orange bedding duvet with white sheets is a very inviting selection that will go well in your master suite or even the guest quarters out by the pool. It is such an under used color that people will be mystified when they see it for the first time, and remark that they would have never thought of combing this festive shade with their home décor. Just be warned as some of those comments will be compliments, and others will be backhanded shots at your ability to select decorative items well. Do not worry, with some people their only taste is in their mouth.

Several bed in a bag combinations will incorporate this shaded combo and will cost considerably less than picking everything out separately. Your local retailer should have many to choose from and with a price point of less than a hundred dollars usually. Don't forget to consider your window treatments as they will need to mingle with your new bedding selection.
