If you're shopping around for an outdoor rug then you know the choices can be overwhelming. Options include round, large, small and even runners. Having such a large variety of styles to choose from is a good thing because if you take your time you are bound to find a rug that is perfect for the area you want to put it in. Yes you can buy a luxurious Persian but if that is a little too costly then you can buy one that is made in Belgium, China and even Turkey.
Several years ago you would have never seen so many styles available but manufacturers and retailers were smart to understand the market. Outdoor rugs are big business now because many people are opting to decorate not only the inside of their homes but also the outside. And if you have a a porch, patio, swimming pool and garden then you too can certainly use one.
Maybe you are new to all of this but you want to improve how your home looks from the outside. The rule of thumb is simple use the best outdoor rugs in areas such as the patio or outside room. The porch is also okay for pricier rugs, other areas that have a lot of traffic should use extra durable all weather outdoor rugs. Most quality outdoor rugs are built to last but it would be a shame to place a beautiful Persian outdoor rug near the BBQ area. It will last but it will get damaged if a piece of charcoal lands on it.
