Overbooking your Time is a Vacation Destroyer
Almost everyone hates having a stressful vacation. Some vacations tend to be nerve-racking rather than relaxing. There are many factors that add up to this and it is always best to address problems before they even happen. Find alternative ways of dealing with them after finding out what's causing them. One of the main reasons why vacations tend to go sour is when your vacation drags on too long. Overbooking your time is a vacation destroyer, are those vacations taken to the point of getting restless and bored with the venue.
Most of the time, when planning for a vacation the family members or those taking a vacation agrees on a single theme or plan. This way everyone gets to enjoy the vacation. When everyone at the venue gets too comfortable or gets so much enjoyment, one might suggest that you extend your vacation. This can present a great problem since overbooking your time is a vacation destroyer.
Overbooking in your vacation venue can be a very bad idea in some conditions. There are also times that it proves to be great but this happens rarely as most of the time everyone ends up bored and left with a bad memory of that specific trip and never return to that venue again.
A reason why overbooking your time is a vacation destroyer is that like most people, we tend to get bored after a few days of the same repetitive routine while on vacation. Instead of enjoying their vacation people tend to end up bickering as they get to feel irritated quite easily. Besides, if you're visiting with a relative, they may have some other agenda lined-up and you'll be disrupting their schedules. Here are some of the factors that can turn the tide of your vacation when trying to extend your vacation:
Money – is one great reason why overbooking your time is a vacation destroyer. Of course we all know that nothing is truly limitless especially if money is the issue. Don't even start about having a credit card. This will only worsen your troubles like a nasty hangover the day after a party. Just follow your plans and your budget by spending only on what you think is necessary. When you overbook your stay you will basically forget about your budget prompting you to use your credit card just to keep up with the fellow vacationers who decided to extend their own fun. Chances are you will end up with a large bill after a month or so after your vacation.
Schedule – Overbooking your time is a vacation destroyer especially when you are a person with a tight schedule. You barely made the vacation fit in your schedule, but no, everyone has to insist that you extend your vacation along with them. A good thing to do if your vacation extension really cannot get in the way of your living is to just tell the others your reason why you cannot extend. Most of the time they wouldn't understand so just pack your stuff and go on with your business. Besides you cannot blame them if you lost your job just because of extending the vacation.
Most of the time overbooking your time is a vacation destroyer as it will only bring about frustrations when you make the wrong decisions. So next time someone asks for an extension or next time you feel like extending the vacation, you might have to think twice and worry about the consequences now.

I agree, it is essential to plan "down time" on your vacation as well as entertainment. Too many activities can ruin your time off.
