There are many ways to have a pampering day at home that can be quick and easy and loaded with benefits for the mind, body and soul. The benefits of taking the time to pamper ones self are many such as stress relief, relaxation, meditation, improved mood and attitude, good hygiene, anti aging and maintaining youthfulness as well as better sleep, clearer thinking,  improved flexibility and reduced joint pain. Invite your spouse or child or a friend to join you if you like. Choose a specific area of the mind or body to focus on weekly and schedule your pampering day soon with these tips. This is one habit you will want to repeat over and over again!


Ways to Have a Pampering Day at Home:


Pampering Facial

Give yourself an at home facial including a facial cleanser, facial exfoliating scrub, facial toner, anti aging serum, uplifting eye gel and a facial moisturizer. Focus as you perform each step using slow, gentle strokes in an upward motion and allow the products to do the work. Deep breathe in and out during each step of your facial and you will feel refreshed and rejuvenated. Take care of your skin and you'll not only look better but, you'll also feel much better too.


Pamper Yourself with a Warm Bath

A warm bath is very relaxing and soothing to the mind as well as to sore muscles and joints and can help to take your mind off of any worries or troubles. Fill your bath with warm water and your favorite scented bubble bath and a few drops of pure essential oil. Dim the lights of the bathroom then light a scented candle and play soft, relaxing music. Relax in the bath submerged up to your neck for 15-20 minutes with eyes closed. Breathe in and out deeply while you relax without falling asleep! Apply lotion to your whole body when completed and you'll feel rejuvenated and relaxed. You deserve to be pampered - take the time to do it!


Anti aging Treatments

Restore Firming Facial Masque

An hour before bedtime, get away from it all and indulge in a pampering treatment that will make you look and feel 10 years younger!

Apply your nightly cleanser to the face, massage in small circles for a moment, rinse with warm water and a washcloth.

Apply an anti aging masque that will help to deep clean the pores, smooth the texture of your skin and tighten fine lines and wrinkles.

Use as directed and allow to stay on the face for 15 minutes.

Lie down as the anti aging masque dries while taking deep breathes in and out leaving all your cares behind.

Rinse the masque off with warm water and a washcloth, give a final cool rinse and tap dry.

Complete the anti aging treatment with your favorite natural eye products and moisturizer so that you will not only feel better, but sleep better and feel super refreshed in the morning.


Yoga Stretching

Yoga is a simple yet effective exercise that focuses on stretching to improve flexibility while toning the body and can also help with weight loss and pain relief.

Do some very simple stretching of the arms across the chest of the body and behind the body. Bending to touch the toes and then extend the palms of the hands to touch the floor as you kneel. Arch your back as you keep your abdominal muscles tightened. Hold the stretch and release and repeat 10 times. Extend the arms fully as you lie on your stomach. Lift each leg one at a time upward and behind you as far as you can safely stretch. Hold each stretch for a count of 10 while deep breathing. Begin to sit up resting your backside on your heels. Stretch your upper body forward to feel the stretch in your back, legs and arms. Hold for a count of 10 while deep breathing.

Sit up with legs crossed and press knees to floor slowly to feel a stretch without hurting yourself. Hold for a count of 10 while deep breathing.

Sit up straight and take 10 deep breaths.

Continue with these beginning yoga stretches and add more as you become more comfortable with the process. You'll soon become more flexible and able to add more stretching and you'll feel great while improving your bone and joint function.


Pedicure at Home:

Home manicure

Do your own pedicure at home by soaking your feet in the bathtub or a basin in front of your favorite television show. Add a few drops of pure essential oil and warm water. Soak your feet for 15-20 minutes or until the water cools.

Clean toenails using a manicure brush. Invest in an electric pedicure wand that will help to remove dry, dead skin cells and calluses on feet to help improve circulation and make your feet feel better overall.

Use a peppermint foot scrub in a massaging motion to remove the dead skin cells and to rejuvenate sore and tired feet. Rinse the scrub off.

Remove feet from water, gently pat dry and apply a peppermint foot lotion to the entire foot, ankle and lower leg.

Paint your toenails in your favorite color and clear top coat.

Relax as your toenail polish dries.
