Parking Solutions at San Diego Airport

By | Jan 12, 2010 | 0 Comments | Rating: 0

Let's face it; air travel in this day and age can be a huge hassle; security lines, baggage, and even overbooked, delayed, and cancelled flights. One of the biggest hurdles is finding someone to drive you there and pick you up, or actually driving to the airport on time on your own, and finding affordable parking. The only truly reliable means of transportation is you and your own car. Luckily, in San Diego that is normally not too much of a problem. With the notably calm drivers of San Diego, driving yourself to the airport can be much more stress-free than public transportation options. Unfortunately, even this can prove to be a hassle when you arrive at the airport and begin looking for parking.

Now, there are online sites that can help you find great airport parking. Many sites are providing information on the various lots around the airport, and offer the option of reserving a parking spot through their site for a hassle-free experience when you arrive. They also offer complimentary shuttle services to and from the airport. There are also coupons online for various airports in the vicinity.

The following parking lots are cheaper than the San Diego airport lot, which charges around $18 for the first day, and $24 for every day after that.

Aladdin Airport parking is located on Kettner Blvd, just over a mile from the airport. They have a car wash as well as valet services available for an additional fee. Their lowest rate for outdoor parking is $10 a day.

The Laurel Airport parking lot is on the corner of Laurel St. and Kettner Blvd, just across from Aladdin. They have detailing available as well as valet services and car washes. For just parking, their rates are as low as $12 a day.

Mission Brewery parking is a little bit further from the airport, on Hancock St. but still under two miles. This lot boasts extremely high customer service satisfaction with employees that are the best in the industry.

Park, Shuttle & Fly parking is less than a mile and a half from the airport, and is about $10 a day. This lot is on the west side of the airport, and is less likely to encounter as much traffic as lots on the other side.
