Passive Income 101
After reading The Four Hour Workweek of Timothy Ferriss I became inspired to change my life completely. I no longer aspired a 9 to 5 career with a steady pay cheque. Instead I wanted to earn my own money on the internet.
Right now I study for a joint masters degree. It feels like it's now or never to try to succeed in making money online.
I tried several different methods to earn money on the internet. One of them is blogging for money, another is posting articles on crowd sourcing sites like this one.
I can say you that it is possible to earn money by writing or publishing your own genuine articles. I must emphasize that you only publish your own content. So don't be tempted to copy and paste other peoples work... In the last month I made almost 300 euro with my niche sites and I have written a few articles on Infobarrel the last couple of days. Hopefully these articles will generate some passive money when they are approved.
You can earn money on sites as eHow and Infobarrel by publishing genuine articles. These articles will generate you some money per 1000 views and pay per click on the google ads and Amazon ads that are showed besides your articles. You do have to register on ehow or Infobarrel as well you should have a Google Adsense account. The idea is that you earn money by connecting your personal Adsense ID to your Infobarrel account. You'll get payed by Google or Amazon.
My niche sites do make money, but it takes a lot of work to get enough visitors right now. As time passes I will get more natural traffic from Google and other search engines. Advertising on Facebook and Google can be quite expensives and you should'nt start an ad campaign without thourough consideration about the quality of your products and blog. Some of my sites are promoting affiliate products, products that aren't made by me. When I sell these e-products I make a commission on the sales. Most of these affiliate sales have a commission of about 60-75%!
