Pepsi vs Coke

By Edited Jul 13, 2015 0 2

So, an age old question that dates back from the early 1900s pepsi or coke? Coca Cola has been around since the 1880s, and pepsi is a recent challenger in terms of histography. Do you perfer the taste of coca cola, that cool refreshing quench to your thirst on a hot, sultry day? Or the bubbly fix that Pepsi offers?

John Pemberton invented Coca-Cola in the 19th century, in a little southern town called Atlanta Georgia. Coca-Cola is a classic soft drink and one of the first soft drinks ever invented in the world. Pepsi was first introduced as "Brad's Drink" in the 19th century. Pepsi is one of the biggest competetors to Coke and in the 21st century if you go to a store your usually going to find Pepsi Cola products and Coca Cola products. These two have been engaged in war to dominate your taste buds since the beginning of the century. But, what is better Pepsi or Coke?

In my opinion Coke is the better product. It was around first and it was one of the first soft drinks made in the world. Pepsi arrived not long after, but never managed to give the Coca-Cola company an upset. The only good Pepsi product is Mountain Dew. But, the question is Coca-Cola or Pepsi. both are colas, both are sweet and taste good, but Coca-Cola just has something that pepsi doesn't.

It is in my opinion that you should drink Coca-Cola. Next time you go to the supermarket or gas station pick yourself up a 2 liter of Coca-Cola and drink it's cool, refreshing, syrupy, liquid. Of course, if you don't believe me then go and pick up a 2 liter of Coca-Cola and Pepsi and drink them both. I think that you will find that Coca-Cola is going to beat Pepsi everytime. While I very much dislike Pepsi, I don't dislike all pepsi products. Some products such as Mountain Dew, Mountain Dew Code-Red, and Pepsi Vanilla-Cherry are good drinks. It's just that when it comes down to I perfer Coca-Cola or Pepsi. I choose Coca-Cola. I doubt things will change very much for me in the future since both drinks have been around for a hundred years, and Coke has always been on top. But, maybe one day I will revise my opinion. I doubt it will be anytime soon though.

I prefer Coke over Pepsi. If I am with someone who drinks Pepsi I like it because I know they will not drink my Coke.

I love Mountain Dew.

Die-hard Pepsi fan myself. Perhaps that is why my BF and I get along so well...he doesn't touch my Pepsi and I won't touch his Coke!

Great article though!
