Personalized Baby Blankets

When people think of babies; diapers, little clothes, bottles, and blankets all come to mind. As gift givers, you want to give a personalized gift for the new little one. Now if you are not as talented as my mother-in-law, and cannot sew, you can still make a personalized gift that mom and baby will love!

What you'll need: blanket, fabric paint, iron-on decoration, iron, and ironinng board.

Step One: Pick out that "perfect blanket." Ones that have minimal patterns or solid color work best so that your artwork shows up better.

Step Two: Pick out a iron on sticker that is small in size. You can do a large one, but I prefer to do a small one and put it in the cornner of the blanket.

Step Three: Pick out fabric paint that will match the iron on and the blanket. You will use this to write the baby's name. Fabric paint works the best, so that you can wash the blanket and the paint stays on.

Step Four: Iron on the sticker and let cool

Step Five: Using the fabric paint, write the baby's name either above the iron on or bellow it.

Step Six: Let dry and then gift wrap!

Now you too can create a personalized gift that doesn't take up your entire Saturday!
