Fair warning - bed bugs are nasty creatures and I have uploaded some nasty photos of bed bugs and bed bugs bites below. This is to show you what the insects look like and what the bites of bed bugs look like. These nasty creatures are really becoming a bigger problem across the world, and it's important that we understand just what they are and how to get rid of them!

What Are Bed Begs?

These are parasitic creatures that feast solely on your blood. We are seeing an increase of them here in the United States unfortunately. While they don't transmit diseases, they cause itchy bites and very irratating. You definitely don't want these things in your home or in a hotel you're staying at.

Why the Rise in Bed Bugs?

According to the EPA, experts believe the recent increase in the insects in the US may be due to the following reasons: "more travel, lack of knowledge about preventing infestations, increased resistance of bed bugs to pesticides, and ineffective pest control practices."
