Picnic Backpack For Four

By | Aug 7, 2010 | 0 Comments | Rating: 0

Everybody has his or her own opinion of what makes the perfect picnic. Some people are satisfied with a backyard picnic, moving dinner from the dining room to the back patio. Others want an extreme expedition to a mountain summit before cracking into a packed lunch of tuna fish sandwiches and an ice-cold beverage. If you find that you are in the second camp, and you like to work for your picnic before you enjoy it, you need a picnic backpack. And maybe you have been going on picnic adventures for years-now with a family to join you in the experience.

A picnic backpack for 4 is the perfect accessory to get you from the trailhead to the summit. It is the perfect size pack for long and short adventures alike. With interior compartments for silverware, glass wear, plates and a large food compartment there is plenty of storage room to stow a generous supply of food. Two side compartments also make for easy storage of large water bottles keeping the main compartment free for only food. This is a nice feature to prevent your food from being crushed and mangled in transport.

Even if you do want to take the pack to the summit of a long, steep hike, a nylon insulated picnic backpack is perfect. The Ramblor Backpack, for example, has made its compartments to securely hold all dishware safely in place. A mesh webbing on the front zip open door keeps plates from sliding around while two elastic straps on the front interior hold glasses safely in place. If you wanted, you would be able to tote real glass with you all the way up the mountain. So do not leave it to the professionals any longer.

Make the hike with your family and enjoy knowing that all your food is going to be intact at the end of the trail. Whether you choose the Ramblor or another pack for four, make sure you find a lightweight design, four pounds or fewer is a must. Also check for interior capacity. A pack for a family should have a spacious internal pack area with several dividers to keep certain foods separate. The worst tragedy of any hike would be to get to the destination to find that your pudding cups had broken open and spilled into your chip bags. Prevent that from happening by finding the right picnic backpack for 4.
