Pink Laptops For Kids

By Edited Nov 13, 2013 0 0

Kids are really tech savvy these days. At a young age, they are already interested in learning how to use computers. With all that technology has to offer, there are now devices made for the curious young ones and designed the way they would want it – cute and sturdy enough to withstand any damage that children can inflict. And many come in every girl's favorite color: pink. Here are a few of the pink laptops available on the market.

The Vtech Slim Pad is designed for kids aged 7 and over and introduces them to the world of computers. It has more than 100 educational games such as Math, English, Geography, Science, and French learning activities, and a touch sensitive screen. It can also be hooked up to a "real" computer to either download other things or back up files. It is built like a regular laptop and its functions are almost the same as the "grownup kinds".

Another one from Vtech is the Vtech My Laptop Pink which is perfect for kids ages 3 and up. This bright pink laptop has 30 educational activities such as Number Order, Puzzle Pieces, Musical Fun, and Forest Phonics. It has a controller resembling a mouse and has 8 directions of operation which will help the eye-hand coordination of kids, and let them get a taste of how to use real laptops.

The Vtech Xtra Pink Notebook targets kids ages 5 and over. It has more than 80 learning activities and educational programs such as Key Stage 1 English, Math, History, basic French, and simple Science and it also has arcade style adventures with 2 player mode and 3 stages of difficulty with memory storing their progress. It also has a real working mouse and QWERTY keyboard.

Even Barbie has a laptop for kids! The Barbie B-Smart Learning Laptop is a great learning toy for girls aged 5 and over. It has more than 50 educational games which include math, grammar, and spelling. It also has a mouse pad and a mouse like a real computer with easy to read and bright back-lit screen.

The Oregon Scientific Accelerator PC Trainer III Pink is a compact laptop and useful learning toy featuring fun games and interactive learning activities. It has a mouse and a full sized QWERTY keyboard just like a real laptop.

Disney has joined forces with Asus to develop a pink laptop computer designed for kids ages 6-12. The Asus Disney Notebook is based on Asus' Eee PC and uses Windows XP. It measures 8.9" and allows the user to choose the memory specification. It works just like a regular laptop, but also has parental controls for email, web, chat access, as well as times and dates when these applications can be accessed. But the best features are perhaps the spill-proof keyboard and the ASUS shockshield date protection that will keep the laptop from losing all the stored data when dropped.

These are just a few examples of the pink laptops you can buy for your little girls when they are starting to show interest in learning how to use computers while having fun. Having computer skills is essential these days and these laptops are a great place to get started learning.
