When it comes to proper diet and nutrition, pistachio health benefits are numerous. Plush, these little green nuts are awfully tasty so learning that snacking on them was actually good for me was a very pleasant revelation. All of these nuts are good for you but if you have to watch calories and really like to eat, pistachios are a better choice for you. You're probably thinking that since they are low calorie, pistachios don't offer much protein. Nope, they are actually tied with almonds at a full six grams of protein per serving which is much higher than most nuts. Again, the pistachio health benefits are surprising and awesome. What can't this little nut do?


Pistachios contain high amounts of Beta-carotene, Lutein, Potassium, Vitamin B-6, Thiamin, Phosphorous and dietary fiber. It's almost shocking when you see the nutritional values of pistachios when compared to other nuts.
