Unfortunately for Pamela, Woodrue began experimenting on her in an attempt to create a hybrid like himself. He experiments worked. In fact, they worked all too well and Poison Ivy was created. This soon-to-be super villain was the complete opposite of Pamela Isley. She was gorgeous and absolutely one of the sexiest beings alive on all of the planet. She was also entirely unforgettable, her skin starting off as an intoxicating porcelain color which was slowly tinted green as her human blood was replaced with chlorophyll. Moreover, she oozed extremely viral toxins as well as irresistible pheromones, the combination of which was deadly for anyone unfortunate to be caught in her trap.

Poison Ivy took up a life of crime in Gotham City in order to support her passion: protecting the world’s supply of rapidly diminishing fauna. Fortunately for Gotham City, Batman was able to resist her charms and foiled many of her terrorist threats to the city and its inhabitants. Poison Ivy was, of course, intrigued by the idea of having a worthy adversary, which made for some great battles between the two.
