The Best of the 1970s

The 1970s brought the premier of the situation comedy "All in the Family" on CBS. The popular "People Magazine" debuted with Mia Farrow on the cover and the late night comedy show "Saturday Night Live" made its debut on NBC. The three major networks "ABC," "CBS" and "NBC" agreed to create a "Family Hour" - an early evening time slot free of violence and sex. The movie "Saturday Night Fever" created disco fever, and the first "Star Wars" movie hit the theaters.  In addition, Mickey Mouse found a new home in the 70s, Disney World opened to the public in 1971.

This is one of those movie lists I think I should watch my way through. Haven't seen many of them but have heard most of them are classics. Great list of 70s films.

Great list, Introspective. They're all eminently watchable for one reason or another. I even found one, "The Last Wave," that I have never heard of.
