Like many German car manufacturers, Porsche has earned a reputation for outstanding engineering, very good reliability, and high levels of luxury and style. And back in 2006, Porsche proved this again, when it received the title "the most prestigious automobile brand" by the Luxury Institute in New York.

And it is a title that is well deserved. For many years Porsche has introduced many iconic cars, and one of these, the Porsche 911 is arguably the most popular, and most recognized. Today, there are many a Porsche 911 for sale, both modern classic.

Also known as the "Nine-Eleven", the Porsche 911 is 2-door luxury sports coupe that was first produced back in 1963. It is a car that has burned itself into the psyche of the automotive community. While advancing technology is expected in cars, the 911variants have always proven to be more advanced than most cars during their day. Such is the case with the Porsche 911 GT3, which is the sport edition of the first water-cooled 911. A used Porsche 911 GT3 for sale can still cost quite a pretty penny, and this is because it can still go toe-to-toe against many modern vehicles.

Buying any used Porsche 911, especially those with proper papers and documentation, can be a very good investment for any sports-car enthusiast.
