Business writing courses can provide you with all the professional article writing tips you need. Even though attending a business writing course will help you write better articles, is it really necessary?

Do you really have to be a professional writing expert to make money writing? In the scope of this very short article, you will learn the most basic knowledge you need to write articles that look sexy and make you a profit.

Writing Articles for Profit:
Without the need for any capital investment any person can write an informational article, and be making money with Adsense advertising and affiliate marketing in no time. That is if your article gets traffic. The profit you make from your article depends heavily on the type of website traffic that your article gets - and what your visitors do.

Add A Picture To Your Article:
Article Writing TipsA picture is worth a thousand words. Adding a picture helps the article reader to visualize what you want to convey. You can buy pictures online to use with your articles. Spice up your article using pictures. Being low on cash is no excuse because you can even get free images to use with your article.

Qualification:
When you decide on your article title, keep in mind that you want to pre-qualify you visitor. Your article title should give the reader a peek into what they can expect from the article content.

Search Engine Optimization:
Write your article title and article content using keywords and phrases that you suspect people may use to search for the information your article will provide. This can help your article rank better in the search engines.

Use Bullet Points:
Use bullet points or headers to draw attention to the underlying content discussions. If you do not use bullet points, emphasize these discussions by adding paragraph headers.

Be To The Point:
Write short sentences and be to the point. Do not just dot down bullet points but elaborate on your key points without using too long sentences.

Add An Affiliate Link:
Your article have two links pointing to two websites of your choice. This can be your own website or an affiliate link. You get a commission paid when anyone clicks this affiliate link, and buy the product or service you referred them to.

Call To Action:
If you want to get your reader to act on your links, you should tell them so. You already use short, to the point sentences. This leads to decisiveness and you can expect some response. Why not also ask them - or rather, why not tell them what to do.

Proofread Your Article:
Always read your article before you submit it. Preview the article first to see how your article will be displayed. Read your article out loud. This will force your eye movement to slow down and you will find more grammatical errors this way.

Form Joint Ventures:
Link to two other related works that were submitted by other article writers. This helps them get more traffic to their articles and you also get more exposure when they link to your article. For joint ventures like this you will want them to focus their efforts towards promoting one of your articles. List that article in your profile. Remember to add an online profile link where they can contact you.

Boost Your Article Page Rank:
If you write and publish articles elsewhere, do include a link to your article you want to get ranked. This not only refers traffic but it builds your article page rank. To increase your article page rank write an article and submit it to any of the major article submission sites. Outsource your article marketing if you do not have the time to effectively promote each article individually yourself.

Great tips! I don't believe that IB allows "call to action" links however, so I would be careful with that.
