Full Review

I'm a big REN fan, and having once picked some up at duty free on a whim, I'm now a convert to many of the REN products. My favorite is the REN Moroccan Rose Otto Body Wash, from the REN Moroccan Rose Otto range.

The first thing that hits you with the REN Moroccan Rose Otto Body Wash is the smell. I love rose scents, and this is probably my favorite of them all. It's not sickly sweet, or veering on 'old lady' rose - instead, it's a modern, evocative rose, which instantly transports you to the casbahs of Morocco and into the realms of the exotic.

The wash itself is a honey color, with a great lather that can be used in the bath or in the shower. I use it as a showe gel, and it foams up nicely, and gives a really clean, soft feel, leaving my skin feeling moisturized. Because of the lack of additives, it's great for sensetive skin, and it's actually helped clear up a few dry patches on my arms. The scent is enough to give a subtle smell throughout the day and, according to my husband, smells pretty darn good!

The packaging is modern, functional and clean, with a high-end designer look. The product has won the InStyle magazine 'Best Body Wash' award eight years in a row, so it's not just me who's a convert.

In addition to the REN Moroccan Rose Otto Body Wash, in the range you can also find body oil, bath oil, body cream and body polish. Using the wash, scrub and oil would really layer up the scent to serve as a perfume with no problem. My only wish would be for REN Skincare to create a matching perfume and maybe a thicker body moisturizer of some kind.

In Closing

REN has won many awards, and is a beauty editors' favorite choice, and it's easy to see why. The company promotes 'clean, bioactive skincare', and its ingredients are free from synthetic fragrance and colors, petrochemicals, sulfate detergents and animal ingredients, making it suitable for vegetarians. The company also avoids using a number of potential irritants, making it a great choice for people with sensitive skin.

REN also donates some of its profits towards environmental awareness campaigns, and the packaging is recyclable, making the brand a great choice for people who care for the environment, as well as their skin.
