The Swiss Tech Micro Max is a small and handy multitool
This is a cool little tool that you can put on your key chain and take it with you wherever you go. It has many features that a standard sized multitool has, but in a smaller size. The multi tool measures at just 1.9” X .2” X 1.3 inches and is lightweight weighing only 2.6 ounces.
Made from solid stainless steel, the multi tool is very strong and durable, ready to tackle a wide variety of tasks. This is because the Swiss Tech Micro Max is 19 tools in one. Here is a list of the tools that the multi tool comes with:
* Wire Cutter
* Wire Stripper
* Wire Crimper
* Hand Drill
* Bottle Opener
* 2 Hex Wrenches
* 2 Rulers including MM and Inch
* 2 Ruler Extensions
* 6 Screwdrivers
This is a lot of tools and functionally wrapped up in the multi tool which can easily fit inside the palm of your hand. The different tools feature a folding design that allows the multi tool to lock so that it can be used as a key chain.
There are a few small issues with this little gem. The handles are round making griping the pliers a little tricky. Sometimes when using the multi tool, it will twist in your hand making it hard to use. This can be an issue to people who have big hands or are not used to using tools this small.
Another issue with the multi tool is that it doesn’t come with a knife. If you have a pocket knife with you then this may not be a problem. In some areas that prohibit having a knife, the Swiss Tech Micro Max can be safely carried without breaking any rules or laws. It should pass airport security depending on the current rules, but some people have stated that they have had theirs taken away.
Even though the multi tool is made from stainless steel, it is not magnetic. This means that the Swiss Tech Micro Max will not interfere with sensitive items such as compasses and electronic gear.
Keeping the Swisstech on your keychain is easy. All you have to do is unfold the two outer screwdrivers on the side, then open the pliers. Put the pliers over the key ring, close the pliers and then refold the screwdrivers. Once on your keychain, the multi tool will stay in place.
Sure this tool might be a little small for some people and can’t handle the tasks that a bigger multitool can, it has proven to be very useful for many lightweight applications. If you like small gadgets, or useful keychain items, then this is the multi tool for you. It is light enough and small enough that you can take it with you wherever you go. This tool is well worth the cost.
