Recipe Ideas to Make with a Club Soda Water

Non-alcoholic beverages are a means to enjoy some of your favorite drinks without the risk of "going overboard." These beverages can be used to relax on a summer evening, as a treat after a meal or as a safe, tasty drink during a party.

The Summer Cooler

The summer cooler is a tasty concoction that is fruity with a hint of sour. It is a delectable drink to enjoy on a hot summer day.

What you need:
40 oz  cranberry juice cocktail (chilled)  
2 cup  fresh orange juice 
 1  lemon juiced 
 1  lime juiced 
 1  orange (sliced thin) 
 1  lemon (sliced thin) 
 1  lime (sliced thin) 
 1 cup  strawberries (fresh, cleaned halved) 
 2  peaches (fresh, peeled pitted and thinly sliced) 
 1  apple (peeled cored and thinly sliced) 
 2 tbsp  splenda (sugar, sugar substitute) 
 26 oz  club soda 
  ice (cubes) 
Combine all the ingredients, except the club soda, and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
Refrigerate for a couple of hours. Just before serving add the club soda then pour over ice cubes in a punch bowl or into  wine glasses


The Virgin Bloody Mary

The Virgin Bloody Mary is the non-alcoholic counterpart to the Bloody Mary. This drink has a bite!

What you need:
1 can tomato juice,  1 ounce lime juice
3 ounces club soda, 3 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
2 pinches cumin powder, 1 shake of celery salt
1 teaspoon horseradish, lemon pepper seasoning

 Mix all ingredients - except club -  into a large pitcher then chill it for a couple of hours.
Salt the rim of a highball glass, add club soda to glass, then add the Bloody Mary Mix. Garnish with a celery stalk and top with lemon pepper.


The Tommy O'Collins

The Tommy O'Collins is a light non-alcoholic beverage that is made quickly.

What you need:
1/2 cup club soda
1-1/2 tablespoon lime juice
1 teaspoon rum extract
1 to 2 packets sweetener
1 to 2 ice cubes
Combine ingredients in blender.
Blend on high for 10 seconds until light and frothy.
Pour over ice into tall glass.

Bring the first 3 ingredients to the boil and cook for 15 minutes. Let it cool then pour in a punch bowl. Stir in the fruit juices then add the Club Soda, ice cubes and serve in punch cups.
