Recognizing Child Anxiety Disorder
Sometimes we can misinterpret our children's crying, complaining and fearfulness of just being bratty little kids. However, could we be missing something very important? In trying to comfort and teach our children if they persist in a certain fearful manner, or a way that kind of cripples their moving forward and growing up; there may be more issues going on, like Child anxiety disorder.
Aside from general crying and whining and fearfulness of children, child anxiety disorder can come in different ways such as excessive worrying, fearfulness, agitation and even complaints about bad headaches or bad stomachaches. These symptoms generally come into play when a child is outside of the home where they do not feel comfortable.
If your child tends to have these symptoms when they go to school or when they interact with people outside of their normal comfort zone. You may want to have your child checked for Child anxiety disorder.
If your child's child anxiety disorder symptoms persist over time, progress and social skills will begin to slow down as they feel overwhelmed of their feelings of fear and anxiety. This in turn will cause other children to interact awkwardly with your child. And maybe even teas them because of their own awkward behavior.

Aside from taking your child to a counselor for Child anxiety disorder, is to learn from a counselor how to do relaxation activities and of the other therapeutic activities. Once you have these exercises and activities down, you can do that with your child before they go into settings and situations that might stir up an anxiety this quarter. The more that the child is introduced to these activities on a regular basis, they will be able to do these exercises all on their own.
