This novel is about a man named Winston Smith who lives in London which is a part of the country called Oceania. He and the woman he loves are then tricked and trapped by a faithful member of the Inner-Party to join a rehab center for criminals accused of thought crime. In the end, things turn for the worst when it comes to his beliefs and he is then released back into society where he wastes his days drinking gin.
The Poisonwood Bible (Fiction Novel)

This family faces political upheaval, poisonous snakes, dangerous animals, rebels in the jungle, the threat of war and many other obstacles that ultimately lead the family to disperse over the span of 30 years. I Know This Much is True (Fiction Novel)

His twin brother Thomas Birdsey is a paranoid schizophrenic who believes in public self-mutilation. This book allows the reader to follow every dark event the characters in this novel experience. Depressing events but inspirational.
Girl with a Pearl Earring (Fiction Novel)

As a reader of this book, you will witness complex domestic tensions within the household from Vermeer’s jealous wife and reserved mother-in-law. Girl with a Pearl Earring is a novel that was published in 1999 and also has a film that came out in 2003. The movie was nominated for three Oscars, won 12 other awards and has 34 nominations.
