Reducing dark circles under eyes with home remedies

Suffering from dark circles under eyes can be from aging, lack of nutrition, poor health, or substances like smoking and alcohol. Baggy eyes and puffy eyes require proper care. Reducing dark circles under eyes with home remedies can reduce symptoms effectively. Sometimes bags under eyes are genetic, and requires surgery to treat it.

Tissue in your eyes weaken as you age. As you get older, you tend to develop baggy eyes. There are a lot of eye creams out on the market, but home remedies can be just as effective. First it is important to develop the cause of your baggy eyes. Weather can influence baggy eyes. Not getting a full 8 hour sleep causes dark circles under eyes. Getting good sleep will help prevent dark circles. Allergies can cause baggy eyes as well.

You want to eat a better diet, first off. Eat more vegetables and fruits especially. A lot of green leaf vegetables contain vitamin K. Vitamin K can help reduce dark circles under the eyes. Foods high in antioxidants are good for the skin. A good diet will improve the overall condition of your skin. Keep a good hygiene of your skin as well. Some chemicals to your face might cause eye problems and contribute to baggy eyes.

Ice water can help reduce symptoms of dark circles under the eyes. Cold compresses, or ice packs can reduce symptoms. The face requires moisture and you can even sleep with ice packs on your face. That will help reduce the morning baggy and puffy eye look. Also drink a lot of water, about 8-10 could glasses a day.

Take health supplements. A lot of health supplements contribute to better skin. Vitamin E is good for the skin. So is a supplement called resveratrol. Resveratrol reverses the aging process and helps slow it down. Resveratrol can be found in red grapes and peanuts.

A good home remedy to use is cucumbers. Cucumbers are helpful in providing clearer eyes, along with reducing puffy eyes and dark circles. Cucumbers help whiten the face. You should apply two cut slices of cold cucumbers on each eye. Lay down and keep the slices there for about 10 minutes. Best to use them in the morning.

Potato slices can have the same effects. Potatoes can help whiten the skin as well. You can use either potato juice to apply under your eyes, or use potato slices,. Both potatoes or cucumbers should be effective, and helpful home remedies in reducing dark circles under the eyes.
