Renting or Buying Luxury Italian Villas
If you are planning on going on Italian Lakes Holidays, congratulations! It is one of the most beautiful vacation spots on Earth, and amazingly, not extremely touristy. On your vacation, you can find activities for all types of people. If you are interested in doing relaxation and nature type-stuff, you can spend your time exploring the countryside, and doing things like hiking, swimming, and fishing. If you are more into sightseeing, there are lots of famous sites in the bigger towns surrounding the lakes, including famous villas and castles. In the major towns you will also find plenty of nice restaurants and nightlife activities such as bars and clubs for dancing.
The Italian Lakes are a good place to visit for people of all budgets. Obviously, any vacation is somewhat expensive, but even those on a budget can make it work. There are plenty of hostels in each town, so if you are backpacking, you will have no trouble. If you have a little more to spend, you may want to consider luxury Italian villa rentals. This will give you a much more genuine "living in Italy" experience. It will obviously be much more fun than staying at a hotel, even a really nice one. Around the lakes you will find plenty of gorgeous villas for rent, and the best part is, you can get a preview for what it would be like to actually live in luxury Italian villas. It's a very good idea to rent for at least 6 months before actually purchasing a luxury Italian villa.
One of the most important things to keep in mind when making a decision is the location! Do you want to live in a thriving touristy town, or do you want to live in a more modest, quiet one? Which lake do you want to live on, as they all have their own unique qualities. Lake Como and Lake Garda are both quite touristy. Lake Maggiore is also up there, but not as bad. It's a good combination of lots to do because it is a popular tourist spot, but also the quietest of the three. The rest of the lakes are much more quaint with much smaller towns. You also want to consider how often you will be going on Italian Lakes holidays to your villa, or whether that will be your permanent location. Good luck on your vacation at the Italian Lakes!
