Keep a watchful eye out for repossessed cars auction. The funny thing about repo auctions is that they can show up anywhere, almost anytime. For example, there is a lot in a town nearby mine that will frequently, and randomly post a sign saying "car auction tomorrow". Sometimes the repo auction listing is no more in-depth than that! And sure enough, the next day they will have a lot full of repossessed vehicles that either have price or auction number signs on their windows.

Online repossessed car listings are even more comprehensive in that they are not limited by distance; you just have to make sure that you have the resources to be able to get the car back home once you've purchased it!
