Review Of The Line 6 Floor Pod Multi-Effects Guitar Pedal
If your like me and love loud rock music, have a passion for playing guitar, and don't know when to stop after the police have been phoned more then a few times the past couple of night, there's a chance you have heard good things about Line 6 and their range of products. If not, then that's alright, because I'm going to review the line 6 floor pod multi-effects guitar pedal. First off, here is some product information that I recommend reading before moving on.
Product Description
With the line 6 pod multi-effects guitar pedal plugged into your rig, you can create a very wide range of custom sounds that are pushed out through your speaker cabinet. Although this specific model carries tremolo and chorus effects, there are also 16 other modulation effects that can be tweaked to perfect a crunchy or melodic sound. Add depth and richness to your sound with the spring and hall reverbs processor as well as save your own unique effects into the pedal for use later on. This is very useful for live gigs and studio sessions that require you to punch into a certain tone or effects with the step of a foot switch. Ruggedly built and very sturdy, so that you can use at pretty much any venue – indoors out out.
Taking The Line 6 Floor Pod For A Spin of My Own
I first purchased the line 6 pod in January of 2011 and to be totally honest with you, I was in no way surprised with the quality of the packaging. This was great, because when I got around to opening it up, it was in one piece after delivery. Line 6 have always been top notch with all their product's and I play through two of their line 6 spider heads – running through a Marshall cabinet. So wonderful!
I found all of the accessories such as the a/c adapter in the package and immediately plugged into my amplifier to take it for a quick spin. 16 modulation effects and most of them are all new that have not been released with any of their older products. The sound is just incredible and what I have been looking for. Playing through old digitec pedals for the last 4 years was not cutting it and I needed to finally upgrade.
My Final Thoughts
I have been using the line 6 pod multi-effects guitar pedal at practice, studio sessions, and live shows for 1 year now and It is still in great conditions. It sounds as great as when I first opened up the package and plugged it in and line 6 was absolutely right saying this is a durable and dependable pedal. As with all products they have released, I am very happy with this one.
I give the line 6 pod multi-effects guitar pedal a 4/5 stars!

I've not tried a Line 6 pod, but I know some of these things are amazing.
It used to be that you had to really crank up the amp to get certain sounds, but there's some really nice stuff out there now that lets you get great sounds at low volume.
I wish these kinds of things would have been around a long time ago.
Yea man I def. know what you mean. I mean, I'm still very young and at 25 years of age, but I have been playing music for a very long time and pretty a music nerd. lol I remember back In the day when I began to first play and I own nothing but old school equipment. I loved the old school stuff, though a lot of it may have had it's flaws such as minor feedback and such, but I really dug the raw sound they could produce on there own and with an oldschool pedal. But I have have used newer equipment for a little while when I could finally afford it and line 6 has just always been of the greatest quality. There amplifiers are so powerful, have an effects processor built in, durable, and deliver great sound.
Thanks for stopping by!
