RIFT is the newest complete, full featured MMO available to the public (well technically not yet). Choose to adventure into the Telara as a stalwart Champion, or a Necromancing Stormcaller, where you will experience 8 forces battling for control over an ever changing landscape. With their new Ascended Soul system, you can build your own custom class to Quest to your hearts desire, join epic raids, or turn and battle your kin in Player vs Player combat.

RIFT officially opened for Beta on Dec 3rd 2010 and will be the newest in the line of Ever Quest and World of Warcraft challengers on the market. The Death God Regulos has sent his forces into the world of Telara, and so conveniently, rifts between the different dimensions (Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Life) have also started to widen and grow. As a player you are essential a ressurrected veteran called The Ascended, and your job is to purge the land of these other-dimensional evils. A cool thing about RIFT is that going along with the story line, the landscape will always be changing because of different rifts opening and closing. So traveling the same land 3 times might yield 3 very different experiences. As with most MMO's this one is no different in that it has 2 rivaling factions. The main difference is the playable classes you can chose from. There are 4 callings and 26 differnent souls (9 callings for each), with more to come soon. From these, players begin to build their class, making 36 class combinations possible.

Factions & Races:

The Guardians - Dwarves, High Elves, Mathosian

The Defiant - Bahmi, Eth, Kelari

Example Classes:

Warrior - Champion, Reaver, Paladin, Warlord, Paragon

Cleric - Purifier, Inquisitor, Sentinel, Justicar, Shaman
