Rocky Point Park

Rating: 0

Rocky Point is a 3.8 Hectare park located along Burrard Inlet in Port Moody British Columbia. Rocky Point Park is the largest and most well known park in the city of Port Moody.

The most common use for Rocky point is its jogging and cycling trails however it does offer many other amenities.  The other popular amenities include a boat launch, an outdoor swimming pool, splash pad, skateboard park, trials mountain bike park, wildlife viewing, concert stage as well as a water park.

Rocky Point Park is also home to a Pajo’s Fish and Chips as well as the popular Boathouse Restaurant for all your fine dining seafood needs.

If you take the trails around the inlet, on top of all the lookout points, at the end of the trail (3km) you will discover Old Orchard Park.  Old Orchard Park has a small beach to relax on before making the 3km trek back to the Rocky Point Park parking lot.

If your goal is to see wildlife, try to get to the park early before all the crowds make their way onto the trails.  If you are lucky you may spot a Red Headed Woodpecker, some Heron or other beautiful animals.
