Roman Holiday Burgers

1 1/4 lbs. lean ground beef
4 Cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp. dried oregano
2 tbsp. dried basil
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 cups jarred mariara sauce, divided
3 tbsp. olive oil
6 ciabatta rolls or other crusty rolls, split and toasted
6 (1oz) slices fresh or eli- sliced mozzarella cheese

STEP 1 In large bowl combine ground beef, garlic, oregano, dried basil, Parmesan and 1/2 cup of the marinara. Lightly mix; shape into four patties 3/4 inch thick.

STEP 2 Heat oil in large, heavy skillet or grill pan. Add beef patties; cook 15 minutes or to desired doneness, turning once.

STEP 3 Meanwhile, place small saucepan over medium heat. Add remaing cup of marinara and hat unitl warm.

STEP 4 Remove burgers. Place 1 on each toasted roll; top with sauce, 1 slice of mozzarella and fresh basil leaves.
