Runescape Review
Jagex created Runescape which turned out to be one of the best online browser massively multiplayer online games available. This game has had critical acclaim for many of the American mmorpg players, and is rapidly spreading across the world. But how does this game stack up in the total amount of fun to be had, compared to many other online games available?
This game offers quite a lot of content, which is its main selling point so to speak. Runescape has over 150 quests to offer, coupled with many other exclusive features. There is quite a lot of freedom to be had in this game, more so than usually offered within an online video game. You are able to chop wood, kill farm animals, kill npcs and guards, and much more. This sheer amount of content that Jagex offers you is vital for a good Runescape impression. The game has a robust skills system, where you will find that you are able to have quite a lot of variety within your stats. This is quite vital when you are making a character with player versus player in mind.
You will find that leveling is actually quite an easy task. No one likes to play an online game that has sluggish leveling, because it makes it a chore rather than an enjoyment. Runescape manages to have a smooth curve into the hardcore leveling, by having a large amount of levels for you to gain. I have had friends who were around level 120, and they have been playing for two or three months on and off. Not only that, but the game has a vast area for you to play on. Ranging from underground dungeons, to castles and forest areas. On one occasion, I was wandering through a forest trying to make it to another town and I found unicorns roaming the area. The environment that they place in the game is fairly good considering the graphical limitations that they are facing.
Player versus player features are also placed within this game as well. There is a whole land dedicated towards player versus player features. Runescape does not boast a robust system, however, but it does get the job done. While playing, if you die, you will find that your equipment will be dropped. so it is best to pvp when you are playing with your friends, so that they may be able to preserve your stuff if you die. The pvp lands are arranged in a way that the deeper you travel in the land, the higher level people you will face.
All in all, if you are looking for a game with passable action, then you will find refuge in Runescape. This game is a widely successful online mmorpg that boasts a huge community. You will find that it is actually hard to avoid running to people at times, which may be good or not depending on what your intentions are while playing. All in all, I recommend this game for those of you who are looking to play something new or just for a good time waster. Runescape, by Jagex, has been out for months and receives quite a lot of support, so you should try it out.

Is it a free game? The last MMORPG game I tried is a free game, Water Margin Online.
