Free Safelink Cell Phone

Free Government Phone

If paying for a cell phone service has become to much of an expense you might qualify to receive a free cell phone and free cell phone service.  Having a mobile phone on your person in case of an emergency gives a sense of security.  In my opinion technology pushing forward has made it necessary to at least have a basic cell phone or mobile device that will let you make a phone call or contact people using a Social Networking website.

It is possible to receive a free cell phone and service.  All you need to do is spare a few minutes to fill out online forms to receive a free government phone.  If you think you would not qualify I suggest you reconsider.  I thought I would not qualify a few years ago but I did.  I was making a little less than $26,000 a year and I filled out the forms and within a couple of weeks I received a free cell phone with 60-minutes of free cell phone service.  I was so pleased and used the phone for years.  It came in very handy.  I receive clear reception, 911 and has many applications such as phonebook, recent calls, games, office tools, messages, ring styles, personalization and settings.

Safelink Wireless

Safelink Wireless is a government supported program that provides a free cell phone and airtime each month for income-eligible customers.

Safelink Wireless is the real deal. If your household income is at or below the poverty guidelines set by your State and or by the Federal Government, you could qualify for a free phone, free service and free monthly minutes. I qualified for a free cell phone because I make just under $26, 000 per year. I saw the ad on TV, I went online to submit my information and within a couple of weeks I received a free Motorola Tracfone Cell Phone in the mail. You may also qualify for a free cell phone, free service and free monthly minutes if you take part in other State or Federal assistance program such as Federal Public Housing Assistance, Food Stamps and Medicaid.

In Closing

If you're someone who simply needs a cell phone on your person in case of an emergency or to make a few phone calls each month, the Safelink Wireless Tracfone will fit your lifestyle perfectly.  As long as I qualify to receive the government phone I will continue to use it.  I don't live on my phone every minute of every day so to have it in my pocket or bag to make an occassional phone call when out and about works just fine for me and I appreciate not having to pay a monthly bill.

Another useful tip if paying for a cell phone service has become an expense you wish you could live without, give the Magic Jack Plus service a try.  Replace your landline phone with the Magic Jack Plus and if you have a mobile device you can use the Magic Jack App that is free to use for Magic Jack Plus customers.  I make phone calls all the time using my iPod that receives Wi-Fi. You do need to have an Internet Service connection and 90% of the time I do.  I make calls from my tablets and iPod all the time.

Because technology continues to develop new ways to contact and communicate there are so many other free ways to touch base with friends, family and work throughout your day.  Social Networking websites like Facebook and Facebook Chat, Google + and Google + Video Hangout, Twitter, Isntagram, Linkedin and good old fashion email, it may not be immediate but within a few minutes you can touch base by sending and receiving messages.

Making a few adjustments can give you a lot more ways to keep in touch and do it free. Free works so why not use it as long as it is available.
