Scooby-Doo! Camp Scare

I have known Scooby Doo since I was little and having some very fine school days. Now with the college and studies around me, I ditched that life with Cartoons that made me smile. So, here I am, after a very-very long time, watching the latest Scooby Doo movie and it was surprising that it was so great and the time passed so quickly when I was watching it. So let’s talk about Scooby-Doo! Camp Scare.

The story is about solving a mystery in a ‘camp’ where the ‘ghost stories’ tend to become true. Our mystery solving crew arrives at the camp venue just to have some fun time, not knowing what was going on in the camp that made everyone run away and shut down the camp.

Soon, three kids show up because they didn’t get the notice about the camp being closed. Soon, all of them start to have fun till they see the ghost trying to scare them away from the camp.

At this point, our crew starts looking for clues that can solve the mystery and they finally succeed to do it as usual. I am not going to spoil the story by telling you what the mystery actually was.

After watching the movie I felt several emotions running through my heart and there were some amazing scenes that I could not believe at first.

There was this scene when Scooby Doo jumps to save Jessica, a gorgeous camp counselor for Big Moose camp, when this ghost, Woodsman, cuts off the ropes of a rope bridge while she was running away from him. I felt a different feeling when Shaggy did the same and jumped in too.

For those guys, who are afraid of ghosts, throwing their lives to save a stranger was a scene to see and cherish. The trench was too fearsome than some ghost and they didn’t flinch even a bit when they jumped. Scooby Doo jumped to save Jessica and Shaggy jumped to save Scooby Doo, his pal.

Then there was this scene in the end when a water monster (from camp stories) was scaring Daphne (kind of trying to eat her) and Scooby Doo was trying to distract him by biting his tail. Then, the monster tossed Scooby Doo like a rag doll and the next thing I saw, Shaggy was beating him with a piece of wooden plank and saying, ‘Hey fish-face, back away from my buddy’.

All of this was so surprising to me, because I never saw those two show this much courage. Back when I used to see Scooby Doo, these two would run like chickens from a monster. The look on Shaggy’s face while he was beating this monster was something I would never forget. He wasn’t worried about what would happen to him next.

In the end, everything was over and the movie concluded with a nice and happy ending. I will always remember this movie because first, I saw Scooby Doo after nearly 4 years and second, it was great.
